If I hear one more person compare President Obama or the Democratic Party to Hitler and the Nazis, I'm going to scream. How can we have an intelligent dialogue over health care and other issues facing this country when people keep bringing up this off-base analysis. Whenever I hear anyone bring this up, I think to myself "do you even have 2 brain cells in that huge ball on top of your neck?" If you are anti universal health care, fine raise legitimate issues in the debate, but let's lay off the Hitler analogies please. Refer to Godwin's Law.
Vent over.
Re: NBR Political Vent
I have no problem with arguing against the health care bill - I'm not sure I'm 100% for it either, and part of me feels like right now is not the time to tackle the health care system, however woefully inadequate it is. But the name calling helps no one, and makes the name callers sound like overgrown second graders with no ability to formulate an intelligent argument.
Maybe they can take a step up and call the President a "stupid head."
Or just STOP.
This is why I can't watch the town hall meetings. It's embarassing. We should be better than that.

I agree. And can I add "death panels," since that's, you know, NOT IN THE BILL?
I'm all for debating the issue, but let's make it an intelligent debate among grown-ups.
