Has anyone had or heard of a breech baby turning after 36 weeks? At my appt last Fri, the midwife found LO's heartbeat almost in my chest so she's assuming that he's breech. I have an u/s scheduled for the 31st (37 weeks) and she said if he doesn't turn by then he most likely won't so we'll schedule a c-section between 38 and 39 weeks. I am feeling a little nervous about it and wanted to know if any of you had success stories to share.
Re: Baby turning
My baby turned at 36 weeks, and I have heard of babies turning right up until you are in labor - so anything is possible! I had been seeing a chiropractor who practiced the webster technique on me which I attribute to our baby turning, but I have also heard good things about accupuncture. Don't give up hope yet, there are lots of things you can do, also check out spinningbabies.com and try get into a swimming pool to help turn the baby.
Good luck!
She's a midwife and didn't even mention the possibility of doing a version?? That's just sad and wrong.
Things to try:
spinningbabies.com, chiropractor certified in webster technique, accupuncture, a midwife with a good version rate.
