has anyone used/ tried that new razor that has a trimmer on the other end? I'm debating investing in one, since i'm long past being able to see and the sizzors are getting a little scary...
i read in a magazine that its awesome i didnt want to get it because i thought it just trimmed but it said that it gets as close as waxing! so im planning on trying it
Oh my gosh! I can't imagine using scissors! so scary! I use a razor still, I just am very cautious of it. I use a TON of shaving gel too, to avoid razor burn and hopefully get it shaved in one swipe

fyi: I have one, but the electric trimmer part does not get close at all. Just trims it to a certain point. I let it grow some to try it out. I then used the actual razor itself to get my close shave though.
this set is worth every penny! The epilator works well when you can't get a wax in and can handle the pain (before the pregnancy I would have a glass or two of wine and then go for it). But the razor is doing the job now- since like I mentioned earlier, I don't trust myself with sharp objects around the "See You Next Tuesday".
I bought this thing, and if anyone know how to get the trimmer to actually trim well, please let me know. The razor part works fine, but I was kind of hoping I could "trim" instead of shave for a while...no dice.

I bought it too and have mixed feelings. It definitely trims some but not completely. Honestly, I'm so scared of cutting myself while I feel around that it has been a pretty good option. At this point it's that or going au natural and so I figure a little trim is better than nothing. DH doesn't care and I highly doubt my OB cares, I'm sure he has seen it all. I still shave to make sure nothing shows in a bathing suit, but thats it.

Re: Since someone mentioned trimming girly parts....
I have and it was a painful experience
Maybe it was just me, though. It's a neat concept, but didn't work for me.
Also- I find the commercial highly offensive for some reason!
Scissors? I don't think I would ever use those down there!
I just use a regular razor and blind feel my way around very carefully!
