2nd Trimester

are you easily agitated?

I find that I get agitated at the weirdest things... Right now, a co-worker of mine is driving me nuts (she's been on the phone forever), and really for no good reason. I'm just irritated, lol. Over the weekend, we were watching the Bronco's pre-season game, and I started feeling so restless! Like, almost angry restless. I got up and walked around the house some, and finally laid down for awhile--felt much better after that. Then yesterday, I was just cranky for most of the morning for no good reason.

Arrrgh.

Re: are you easily agitated?

  • Yes!! Lately I just want my DH to shut up! lol..I dunno, he makes me angry for the stupidest reasons lately!

  • What type of question is that?....arrrgh *sound of throwing laptop and breaking stuff*

    Lol....sorry!!

My DH has nicknamed me Hulk...."you wouldn't like me when i'm angry!"

  • I have been so agitated about everything!  I was about ready to kill my MIL and SIL on our big family vacation last week...it was rather unfortunate.

  • Ha, we were totally egging each other on yesterday over stupid things... I eventually said, "I am so cranky. I'm sorry, it's not you! I'm just annoyed!" and he was like, "Me too! I don't even know why I'm annoyed either!" We actually began to get along after that, lol.
  • Very. We went to a baseball game Saturday night and I was so irritated that the game went into extra innings. lol
  • I have a very short fuse lately.  I seem to get annoyed at everything.  Once I catch myself I try to be my normal self but sometimes I just want to rip peoples heads off.
  • Yes! I am usually such a patient person, but not lately. DH said he feels sorry for our LO if I stay like this!

  • DH knows my routine now and doesn't take offense when I proclaim "I'm in a foul mood for no reason" and I scuffle out of the room and upstairs to lie down. He knows I do this so that I won't snap at him.

Also, in other news...I want to throttle my neighbour who owns a moped and insists on revving the friggin engine when he gets home from work on a night. ARGH!

Too funny!  I haven't thrown anything yet, but I have slammed the door.  I definitely have felt like smashing a few things lately.

  • For the most part I have been myself as far as emotions go though yesterday evening I got very frustrated and agitated w/ the dogs and the end of the weekend. DH thinks I have a?tendency to?overreact and get into "Hulk Mode" as one of you called it, even though I only do this once a month or so. I told him that he is lucky I am so calm compared to some horror stories I have heard from my family and friends who have kids, guess he doesn't think so.??
  • Oh, it's so nice to hear I'm not alone.  I am usually the least irritated person in the room but now so many things my DH does or says annoy me.  I feel so guilty and try to remind myself not to say anything.  Luckily he understands it but I don't like it.  You're not alone!!  I can't wait for my old self to return.  That and old self who wasn't obsessed with thinking about food all day.
  • My bf aggravates the HECK out of me since I have been pregnant. I feel so bad but I don't know what to do about it.... Smile  Sad
