Medela tubing end comes off...

I have a Medela Pump In Style.  The small plug that is attached at the end of the tubing that goes into the cones/bottles--has pulled off.  So, what I mean is when I go to pull the tubing out of my cones/bottles the small plug/adapter stays behind w/ my cones/bottles when it's really suppose to stay with the tubing.  Anyone else have this?  Think it's ok?  I mean, air isn't leaking around it, so it should be ok.  I sterilized my tubing this past weekend and the small plug/adapter seemed to really stay well in the tubing but as soon as I went and pumped this morning it did it again.  Should I buy some new tubing maybe?

Re: Medela tubing end comes off...

  • this happened to be a couple of times.  i just reattached to the tubing and it was ok.  but you should call/email medela and ask for new tubing and most likely they'll send it to you for free.

  • You can cut the plastic end that goes into the pump it will stay in much better!
