3rd Trimester

Any thoughts?

I've been having a right side lower butt/upper leg pain; my doctor told me it was a sciatica.

Over the weekend, however, it's moved to be on the right side of my va-jay-jay, right next to my leg. It's kind of like the pain after sitting on a horse and trying to walk afterwards.

Any thoughts on what this pain is, or (more importantly) how I can make it go away? (It hurts to walk.)

Re: Any thoughts?

  • LOL at va-jay-jay....

Anyway, getting a massage helped me.

  • It sounds like the separation of your pelvis as it prepares for birth.  I've had this since about 35ish weeks.  I hate to say it, but nothing really helps. I've tried massage, Tylenol, ice, heat, exercises, etc.  The doc says that it's normal and can just be especially painful in different women.  Honestly, at 41 weeks, that's my only complaint.  However, I cry every time I have to walk to the bathroom because of the pain.

GL to you! Maybe you'll  be able to find a way to get rid of the pain!
