domperidone users help!

Did you talk with a LC or OB before taking it?  We are military and my OB suggested Reglan, but I am not sure what they will think about domperidone.  I have a very low supply.  DD gets 1.0-1.5 oz from BF and then I can pump 20-30 mLs.  I have to supplement with up to 2 oz of formula at each feeding b/c she wasn't gaining weight.  I have tried fenugreek and am looking for something else.

Anyone with a similar problem or advice on domperidone?

i have not taken domperidone, but I read your other post and wanted to reply. 

I took the Feugreek and Blessed Thistle (3caps 3x a day), and that worked.  I also think you need to stop supplementing and have a nursing holiday.  Just nurse as much as as often as possible.  The more your baby nurses, the more milk your body makes.  By supplementing, you are not telling your body that it needs to make more milk.

I would spend all day topless and just let your DD nurse when she wants to.  It might take a couple days of every hour feeing, but your body will respond.

I totally want to do this, but the pedi said that it takes more energy for her to nurse than she is getting from me.  For a few days, I was BF 12-14 times a day and they yelled at me for that.  I have tried to increase my frequency and decrease her formula.  So far today, I have only supplemented with 1 oz each time and I am trying to BF more often (every 2 hours - otherwise they say it is too much work for her).  I am SOOOO frustrated!
