I just said I was done buying maternity clothes and then I wandered over to the Old Navy site. I've never ordered maternity from them and I don't have many regular clothes from them either. I've heard they run big, but I'm not sure. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 2-4, usually a small on top. (I'm only looking at tops btw). At Motherhood Mat I buy their cotton tees in medium to account for shrinking in the dryer, and I don't like my tops too tight across the chest. Will a medium at ON be too big, should I go for a small?
Re: Old Navy Maternity Sizing?
ON in general runs big on me (I'm a L and sometimes XL in some stores but can usually fit into a M or L at ON)
I find that different shirts run smaller and different shirts run big at Old Navy. For instance their maternity tank tops, the ribbed kind, I love but they run small and shrink over time and some of mine are starting to get too short. I have another shirt that is more like cotton and free flowing and I got a medium and I should have gotten a small.
If you are a 2-4 you could probably get away with a small but if you want to be on the safe side and don't care if your shirts are a little bigger than smaller, I would go with the medium.
