Can't button my pants

Today was the first day that I couldn't button my pants.  Definitely no bump.  Not really bloat either.  I guess just the weight gain so far.  I'll be trying out my Be Band today.  I guess that it is good that I have a day to try it out before I go to work.  If it doesn't work, I'll be shopping for clothes a size up, because with no bump I don't think maternity clothes will work yet.

No use trying to make yourself uncomfortable... go all out for the mat pants Once you try them on there's no way you'll ever want to go back to dealing with buttons (until you're post postpartum that is)     Bella band didn't work for me so I starting wearing maternity clothes early and I'm so glad I did.

I'm in your same situation.  I went to the stores and tried on maternity pants and bought a pair of extra-smalls.  They work!  Trust me!  They still fit me in the legs and butt, but they give my belly just the room it needs to breathe.  I am headed back to JC Penney to get some more of the same capris in different colors.  The maternity shirts are way too big, but just buy a size down in the maternity pants and they will be ok.  Make sure you try them on though.  I tried on one pair of smalls and I had enough room for two people in that brand.

I can still wear my low rise but I did buy 2 pair of maternity pants under the belly from old navy that were on sale. Let me tell you I wore them to the movies last night because I would be sitting so long and OMG they were soo comfy! I would just try to find a pair that isn't to expensive. My 2 pairs from old navy were 40 bucks for both!

It has been way to uncomfortable to button for a few weeks.  I've been using a rubberband through the button hole and it has done the trick!

depending on the pant I've been sporting the bella band:)  I have a few pair of low rise jeans that still button so I can wear those without, but every other pair of pants require the bella unless they're elastic waist. 

I finally broke down yesterday and bought two pair of mat pants.  Slacks for work because I'm on trade show duty and can't wear jean:(  I just bought a pair of 4 liz lang maternity slacks and they fit great (and are sooo comfy).  As long as my butt doesnt widen too much more they should work for a while - now I just need to hem them since I'm so freakink short:)

Try the rubber band trick - loop a hair tie around the button of your pants, through the loop, and then back around the button.

Thanks to low-rise jeans, I wore my favorite pair until I was 28 weeks along with that trick!
