We just found out that good friends of ours just had a m/c like us. I am currently waiting to m/c naturally, but our friends were the same number of weeks as I am, and she had a D&C. They have had extensive IF testing done with an RE and they are devastated.

It feels kind of weird, b/c as we are grieving our situation this weekend, DH & I are finding that this news has really disturbed us. We know what an awful situation this has been for us, and have sort of felt alone in this process. Although I would never wish this upon my worst enemy, it is comforting to know that there are IRL friends who we can go to for support.

    A lot of us feel this way when we find IRL friends who have had a miscarriage. You're right - you don't wish this pain on anyone, but it is nice to know you aren't alone. Hopefully you and your friends can draw comfort from each other, talk through your feelings, remember your babies together.

    I do think that it's one of those things that affects SO many mothers, but people just don't talk about it.  So many of my friends, etc.  have said "oh, I've had one too."  So glad you have a friend that you can talk to about it.
