No Rhubarb when bfing?

kellymom.com has included rhubarb in the list of herbs to avoid when bfing. Now what is the reason for this, and has anyone else heard of this? So, like, rhubarb pie is a no-no, or do some people take...rhubarb pills?Embarrassed

    I hope this isn't true. I love rhubarb. Last night I made some rhubard strawberry sauce that I was planning on eating later today. I had a little bit last night. I also ate it when I was pregnant. I had no idea that I wasn't suppose to eat it.

    Even if it is true that Rhubarb is somehow incompatible with BFing, my guess is you would have to eat A LOT of pie for it to be a problem.
