I tried to go to bed around 11. It took me the usual hour to get comftorable then I got a BH contraction- a strong one that lasted im sure a whole 3 or 4 hours my tummy was so tight and hard. I tried everything to make it stop drank a bunch of water, change positions, walked around to no relief. (except I needed to pee alot)
Then I was very excited when it finnally stopped around 4:30 only to be replaced by some contraction that seemed quite 'real'. It was a intense cramping that started out low and took over my whole uterus lasting about a minute, exactly 5 minutes apart! I woke up DH and he wanted to take me to L&D but I told him we should wait. it was like that for 2 hours, then NOTHING.
Luckily my mom is visiting and she took care of DD so I could sleep in.
Just thought id share the joys of being 40 weeks pregnant.
Re: I had a long night... hoping it was time but no.
At least you have experienced labor before and know what to expect. I'm scared to death. My Dr. keeps telling me "You'll know". I'm driving myself crazy trying to pay attention to every little contraction or pain. It's exciting but the unknown is frustrating at times too.
Totally with you on that one. I have no idea what I'm looking for here, lol.
