work/moving related question

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months
When the day comes that we move (probably will get the word within a month), I want to fly to said moving location and help DH find an apt for us.  Do I just tell boss then what's going on or wait and give just regular 2 weeks.  I just don't know......

    Yea, I would just tell him and put in your two weeks. It's not like you're going to go work for a competitor.

    I'd wait to tell your boss until you actually need the time off. In the current job market I don't think you should give your boss a heads up you're leaving - what if DHs job relo doesn't go through and your boss has already written you off as "leaving"?

    Definitely wait to give notice. Don't tell anyone anything until you have to. At least I wouldn't. I would be afraid something would fall through or happen before you guys moved.
