Curious about the Flu & LO's

DH has been sick the past 2 days. He is feeling better now but spent the last few days puking. He swears it was food poisoning but im freaked out that it was the flu. I swear im coming down with it as I type. :-/

Im praying?that?im just being a hypochondriac but it got me thinking ... what do I do with the baby if I *DO* come down with it??

If you got the flu since you had a child - how did you deal? How do you try to keep the baby well? Is it impossible? Do you just watch them closely??

(im not BFing anymore so thats not an issue)?

    My girls had the stomach flu in July and they passed it on to me.  It was horrible!  It seemed to take like 2 or 3 days for it to pass between us.  The best defense is good hand washing and no kissing.  My DH was able to avoid it.
