Al Megrahi (who was convicted of bombing Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988 which killed over 200 people) was released to go home because he has terminal cancer and only 3 months to live.

I'm sorry, but did the people he killed get a 3 month waiver to enjoy their loved ones before they died?

Yeah, I think I read that it's called "Compassion" leave or something.  That's mercy that he didn't show his victims and shouldn't be extended to him.

did you see the pictures of his homecoming? Disgusting. He served less than 14 days per victim. That Scottish judge needs to be pushed into early retirement. I can't imagine what was going through his head when he made that decision.
