Rx diet pills

A while back some girls were "talking" about diet pills their OBs had prescribed them.  I was thinking about asking my doctor for a Rx but was wondering in anyone had any suggestions for a pill that works or any warnings about ones that don't or potential side effects...

    About 3 years ago I took Phentermine. It worked well, but made me thirsty as heck. Drank lots and lots of water

    Other than that, there were no jitters or anything like that.
