    Our hospital gives a baby book when you leave the hospital and inside are many diff coupons for free things. One of them is a free cake from our local grocery store. So I will be getting that one for him. UMMMM $350.00 for a 1st bday cake is crazy! GL I'm sure you'll find one cheaper.

    You could easily make that yourself.  With 3 varying sizes of round cakes. And for the animals and trees just use sugar cookies.

    This. You cant go to the Cookie Bouquet place and by single cookies. 

    Also...This just popped into my head because i'm going to take a couple of Wilton Cakes... But I wonder if any of the instructors would do a cake on the side.....

    You could do something like this yourself and make it really cute. What if you did different sizes of round cakes (you could even cut them unlevel to make a mad hatter type cake) and frost them with bold colors. Then you could inset frosted animal crackers as borders on the middles of the sides of each cake.

    I tried to make a cake for him but it was way too time consuming during the trial.  I go back to work at a new job the week before the party and I think I will be crazy trying to get things ready.  Super cute idea and in the future I will use that.  Thanks
