Advice re: Halloween costume?

I found an adorable bunny costume for DD for Halloween.

I haven't yet ordered it because I'm afraid it may be too hot for her to wear at the end of October.  Hard to predict, I know.  We live in the Northeast.

    I saw the same costume at BuyBuyBaby and it was thinner in real life than it looks online. Def buy it.  Maybe put a onesie on underneath and a pair of shorts if it's really nice that day but remember once it gets dark it gets pretty cool at night.

    We don't have a BuyBuyBaby near us, but I just checked the website.  Unfortunately the costume on the web is available only up to 6-12 mos size (we need to get 12-18 mos).  Bummer!  I was psyched about the possible 20% discount with a BB&B coupon.  Thank you for the rec.

    We'll try the onesie/shorts idea you suggested.
