Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Love & Logic??

Is this a good book?  My pedi recommended it yesterday, I am considering looking for it in the library.  I need some advice on how to handle our new found love for temper tantrums.

Here is a link to the book:

  • Never heard of it but please come back and post a review if you do end up reading it. DS has a love for tantrums as well lately!

  • i bought it. i've read most of it and i do like the idea. it's aimed more for older kids that have more of the ability to reason. the whole idea is to give your child choices and let them live with their own consequences. it only has a few small sections that apply to toddlers.

  • This is the one that I would get for toddlers.  Took a class on it...very good...works with my nephew.

  • I was at my wit's end with DDs temper tantrums and bought several discipline books, L&L being one of them.  I pretty much laughed through the entire book.  It is definitely not meant for 18 month olds who could care less about consequences or reasoning.  Maybe I'll revisit when DD is closer to 2.5 or 3, but it is pointless for now.
