9-10 month olds: Are you still giving cereal?

Are you still giving your 9-10 month old rice/oatmeal cereal?  I recently added the 3rd meal to his day and are doing more finger foods instead of purees.  I've quit giving him cereal.  Should he still be getting the cereal? Are you still giving your LO cereal?

We will continue with the cereal as long as she still likes it! We mix 2 ox formula and 1/2 container of fruit and she loves it!

No we just transitioned to table foods.  He eats what we eat now for dinner.  Last night was chicken pot pie.  For breakfast and lunch we do fruits, veggies and yogurt for him.

DD still gets it with breakfast.  2oz bm with cereal.  She also gets finger foods, but really loves being fed, so we'll keep doing it until she doesn't want it anymore or we may switch to big people oatmeal or something eventually.

Sometimes I will mix it with a fruit or yogurt but I am basically just trying to use up the last bit that we bought. ?Can't bring myself to throw it away when it is still good!

Yes he still gets it quite a bit.  If he's getting a fruit instead of yogurt for breakfast we always mix oatmeal with it, and he always gets a veggie with oatmeal for dinner.  He still likes eating it and he eats table foods pretty well now, but not enough to get him full, so we still do the purees and I just like adding in the cereal to make it thick.

I mix the dry flakes with her morning fruit.

yes DD still gets cereal for b-fast. Mainly b/c of the iron. Now that DD is taking in less formula (only about 20oz per day) it's impt to keep the iron-fortified foods coming so they dont become anemic.
