umm back to me. lol. i am STILL having the 'phantom cramps'

and they suck. they feel just like my period is going to start.. but it never does (no sign of it since last april of 08 ha ha ha). but anyway, is this just because of bf'ing still, or could it be , oh i don't know, a tumor or something?

 

i never said i wasn't a hypochondriac!

    ummm...I am having the SAME phantom cramps. I keep thinking...oh i am going to get af tomorrow...then nothing (not like I am complaining).

    Could it be a cyst or endometriosis?  Not trying to scare you... but they both make you feel crampy at random times..

    same thing here!!! LO is 7 mos old, stopped BFing a month ago. waiting for AF, but nothing...took a test b/c also been super nauseous - not preg. almost scared to take another one!

    NOT preg and never had endo...  it seems like it's almost monthly that I get them.  Weirdorama!

    Yup - same here. DD is almost 1 and is down to 2 feedings a day, so I'm expecting AF any minute, but she never shows...?

    I remember reading something about having phantom cramps when you are pregnant around the time you would usually expect AF.  I don't remember where I read this, but maybe its just b/c your body was so used to having cramps with AF around this time it continues to do so.  I know, weird explanation, but in a way it makes some sense to me.

    I didn't read the replies. But, I have a good bet that it's your body gearing up to ovulate, and then it's not doing so because of the BF'ing.  Are you pumping at all?? I got my period BEFORE I weaned.  Just an FYI.

    Or, you are getting your period very, very soooooon.

    (Also, I got my Obsidian Black Pearl masterpiece of a fuckingvehicle. TYVM.) Wink
