How far along were YOU when your baby went to heaven?

I was 20 1/2 weeks when I delivered Aiden. I was 10 weeks when I went into the hospital for my second loss. I found out after my second loss that I have two blood clotting disorders. I wish so badly that I knew this before my pregnancies, so I could prevent it in some way.

Just curious, how far along were you and do you know the cause of death?

ETA: ?They said it was probably an infection, but they don't know. ?The doctor told me next time they'll stitch my cervix and deliver me before I go into labor. ?

I was 8w3d, but the baby stopped growing and passed at 7w5d.  I did have a D & C and they were able to test the tissue.

Our little girl had Trisomy 9 and was "incompatible with life".  She would not have been able to survive with ANY kind of intervention. 

So sorry for your loss. The ladies here are great and very supportive.

10 weeks when it happened but the baby passed at 9. 

I have no idea what went wrong but like many people I feel it was my fault.  I had a bad fall down the stairs at 7 weeks and ended that evening in the ER so I keep thinking about that.  The doctor would just tell me over and over it wasn't my fault without listening to anything that happened.  I could have been in a bar fight for all she knows but it "wasn't my fault"

I was a little over 8 weeks.

I didn't have the tissue tested since it was my first loss.

I still count every week...this friday I would be 11 weeks...I wonder if I'll ever stop counting?

I was 8w4d, but the baby stopped growing at 6w3d I think.  Missed m/c.

20 weeks and 3 days.  Unfortunately, they did not have any answers for us as to why things weren't developing properly.  We did chromosomal testing and all was normal.  I wish I had answers.  I feel like it isn't fair to me, my husband or to our sweet baby to not know why.

in my siggy - also no answers, just crappy luck. They guessed maybe low progesterone or blood clots(I have a history of DVT) and this time we did prometrium plus lovenox and so far so good.

1st m/c only a couple weeks along, didn't know was pg, ectopic pg in April.

2nd m/c 8/14/09 our little baby went to heaven to play with grandpa =( Still waiting on results

exactally 20 weeks...due to an infection.  They dont know what caused the infection but I went into labor and our beautiful Bryanna was born and lived for an hour and 39 minutes.  There is some talk that they will stitch my cervix next time as well.

Missed miscarriage discovered at u/s at 18w5d.  Baby measured 15w1d.  Cause of m/c is unknown.  All tests came back normal and genetic testing on the tissue was inconclusive due to poor condition of the tissue. 

My doc thinks that since I've had two sucessful pregnancies already it was a genetic problem that caused it.

One day shy of 21 wks. ?Our daughter had Momosomy X. ?The doctors says I also have a clotting disorder. ?They keep blowing that off like ita no big deal. ?Can I ask what yours is called. ?I go in for genetic couseling on Tues and I want to find out more about the clotting disorder. ?I'm not even sure exactly what mines called.?

22 weeks and 3 days. No reason why which is so difficult. Baby was healthy. No signs on infection. Not IC. Water just broke and our baby girl couldn't surivive without it.

We lost one at 8 weeks, we didn't have anything tested with that baby because I miscarried at home and wasn't able to do it.

Our most recent loss was at 16weeks 4 days, we don't have a definate answer, they think her organs didn't progress properly and she couldn't survive, but we will never know for sure.

I would have been 11 weeks tomorrow too.  I am constantly counting and thinking how far along I would have been at different events that are coming up.  Ugh!

#1- 9wks (baby stopped growing at 7wks) #2 - 14wks #3 - 5wks I'll know in two weeks if I have any clotting or autoimmune disorders. I definitely wish that I could have known the answer before my first pregnancy, and possibly spared myself all this pain.

I found out at 13w3d, but sadly the baby had stopped developing at 8w5d.  Made me feel really good to know X had died and I wasn't aware.

I was 16 weeks 4 days when we got the devastating news however, our little angel stopped developing at 8 weeks 2 days. Have no idea and no testing was done.  I guess I'll always wonder what went wrong.

BO at 8 wks (developed to a little over 6 weeks)

18 wks - chorioamnionitis discovered after my water broke at 18 wks.  Grace was completely healthy and actually lived for 4 1/2 hours after being born.  I had an infection in my amniotic fluid that caused my life to be in danger so she had to be delivered.

The heartbeat stopped at 8w1d and I miscarried at 9w. There wasn't any testing done and the doctor said "these things happen." I also count weeks and think of where we'd be in the pregnancy.

Megan Grace was pretty much born at 35 weeks exactly.  35 weeks was Sunday and I went into labor at 2:30 Monday morning. 

I was just sitting here looking at my siggy and I still can't get over how beautiful she is

ETA: She had OI Type 2.  It's not likely to happen again because it was due to a spontaneous mutation in her DNA.

Also, I had a m/c at 8 weeks back in September 2007.  No idea what caused that other than I had just come off bc, have low progesterone, and my cycles were very very long then.

i was almost 32 weeks. noticed baby was not moving and went to the hospital on the same day, and her heart had stopped. we have no idea why, other than a speculated cord accident. no sign of infection, no chromosome problems. she was a goregous normal baby that for some reason didn't make it. i miss her terribly.

16W4D when I had my D&E.  Our baby died around 14 weeks.  Chromosomes were totally normal so we don't know why he stopped growing.

32w3d.  wyatt passed away 19hrs after he was born due to many internal complications.  but i believe he mainly passed away to pulmonary distress and he had some type of chromosomal abnormality.

I was 16w6d when we found out that the baby had no hb at a routine appt.  They said that they thought the baby had passed away about a week before that. Went to f/u on Tuesday and they said all tests came back negative & 'normal'. We had more blood drawn for chromosomal testing and some for checking my protein levels. Waiting for results for a couple weeks.

My heart breaks for all of you.  I had a chemical pregnancy, and I was devastated, but that was nothing compared to everyone on the board.  Stay strong.

stillborn twin at 36w5d. she starting some growth abnormalities the day before and we were induced. we did not autopsy for more information.

I found out at 8 weeks, but it happened at 6.5 weeks.

I was 15 weeks exactly......the ER doctor didn't do a good enough exam, so my doctor is speculating it was due to an incompentent cervix.  Next time I'm getting a cerclage at 13 weeks to hopefully prevent this from happening again!
