white patch of skin on neck/shoulder

A few months ago, I noticed that DD had a white patch of skin at the base of her neck, shoulder area. She had just been in the sun for the first time with sunscreen, so I assumed that maybe the sunscreen had been applied a little thicker in that one spot. Well, I have noticed that the splotch is still there. It hasn't grown or shrunk at all. There is no scaley skin next to it, so I would assume it is not excema. I am not really concerned and will bring it up with the pedi when I see them next week. However, I was curious if anyone else has had this with their LO?

    No but it sounds like he may not have any pigment in that part of his skin.
