DD has still been getting at least 2 formula bottles a day... we've been working towards giving her less but weren't really in much hurry... I didn't really want to switch to milk because I was worried she'd stop STTN and wake up hungry.
She has been getting milk with Honey Nut Cheerios in the morning since she was 10 months old though but wasn't fond of it cold in a cup (she takes it warm with the cheerios)... I really thought she liked it because it was sweeter.
Anyway, yesterday she was kinda fussy in the evening and I knew a bottle would calm her down but I forgot to go to the store and only had enough formula for bedtime. Well, we decided to warm up some milk and put it in the bottle and what do you know, she drank the WHOLE thing! I think it was about 6 oz or so.
We tried it again for bedtime later and she didn't take any at all and woke 30 mins later crying but when we offered the bottle with milk, she took it then and didn't make a peep until almost 7 this morning and since she had gone to bed early last night it ended up being a full 12 hrs vs 9-10 since normally she goes to bed later.
I also gave her a bottle this morning and she really enjoyed it.
Yay... let's hope it's not just a fluke!?

Re: Successful switch to milk :)
Yeah, that was another reason why we didn't try milk before... my plan was to eliminate formula along with the bottle but seeing how much she enjoyed it with milk and how much of it she drank I'm not worried anymore.?
