Okay, I know this is discussed often, but honestly I didn't pay much attention because we weren't there yet. Can someone help me between the Boulevard and the Marathon?

Re: Britax Help
The Boulevard has the Side Impact Headwings. It supposedly offers more Side Impact Protection. I saw supposedly because Side Impact Protection is not tested. In a sense, all car seats with 5 point harness offer SIP. However, the deeper the headwing area and the more EPS foam there is we can deduce greater protection. Also, the Boulevard has continuous harness adjustment. You have a knob to raise and lower the harness. You don't have to unthread the harness to adjust the height like on the Marathon. On the Boulevard, you can set the harness to the perfect height for your LO. On the Marathon, there are set harness positions. I have a Blvd in my car (primary car) and a Marathon in Dh's.
ETA: I wouldn't pay the extra money for the CS(click & safe) feature, unless you just want the fabric. It notoriously doesn't work properly. Doesn't work at all RF, and clicks too early FF. It doesn't interfere with the car seat's use, as long as you get the harnesses tight enough.
Be careful, Ajanes. I was flamed on the 12+ board last night in regards to car seat safety.
Evidently, I have been parading around as an expert. Who knew.
I have a BIG baby and went with the marathon *because* I didn't want the extra padding. It has the same height/weight limits as the boulevard (which was a key for me - high h/w limits), and the boulevard was $50 more. I liked hte idea of the extra padding, but I knew DS would be all smooshed in there.
He's only 10.5m and is already filling up the marathon quite well. I don't know that I could get him seated properly with much extra padding in there, and I am hoping for this carseat to last us until booster seat time.
I guess if you have a smaller baby, def. go for the boulevard. But if you have a bigger one, take that into consideration.
What is this nonsense?

Evidently if you comment in too many car seat post, then that means you consider yourself an expert.
