**I thought I would post here too since most of my peeps are moving over** So I had originally planned to do Charlotte's 1st b-day as a 'Charlie (what we call her 99% of the time) and the Chocolate Factory' but the more I think about it, I think it would be more fun to do that when she actually remembers it. So, now I'm at a loss. Before you say 'its her 1st, who cares' my BFF and I are all about parties and we have went all out for her kids (7 & 2) so I feel as if I need to keep up but I don't know what to do. Her b-day is Oct 1st so I feel like it should be around a Fall theme. I thought about just doing 'Pumpkins' but then again its her 1st so I feel obligated to have it pretty and pink (LOL!)Any suggestions? Any other Fall moms at a loss? Or should I say fk it and do cupcakes or princess?
Re: XP- Need 1st Bday help...
How about something w/ apples? A friend did an apple theme for a fall party once and it was a really cute idea.I like the red and brown color scheme too, since you will have countless years of pink, I'm sure.
You could say something on the invite like:
"The apple of our eye is turning 1. Come over and join the fun!"
That is a great idea. You could even have apples in clear bowls or pewter pales as center peices.
I was going to suggest apples, too!
And I was also going to say that there is nothing wrong with fall colors and themes for a princess! I immediately envisioned a fall leaf, vivid colors, with a fairy princess perched on the stem.... these kinds of images on the invitation
(ok, I totally came across these a while back while designing a fairy invite and immediately wanted to use these as inspiration to do a fall themed one!)
