XP: Favorite Little People set?

Thought you guys might have some more experience w/ this over here ;)

DD loves her Little People Farm and is starting to really get into playing with it for up to 15 minutes at a time! It's great :) She's always loved the animals but now she's really starting to make them "interact" and put them in the farm, make them make noises, etc..

I'm looking at getting her a different set as a gift from DD#2 once she's born... any recs? So far I've only looked at the princess castle thing, which is cute, but it only comes w/ 2 "people".

  • DS loves the Noah's Ark set.

  • DD really likes the spin & twirl castle (or whatever it's called).

Her favorite is the My 1st Dollhouse - not quite Little People, but it does come with dolls and she puts all of her Little People figures in it.

ditto this. It is so cute! and you can get extra animals to go with it. Also the airplane is fun.

  • learn about town is a HUGE hit here
  • Same as pp.  The learn about town is by far her favorite.  It's really great because it is very educational.  We also have Noah's Ark, which she loves.  It's not educational at all, but we bought the big set that comes with like 14 or something animals plus Noah and his wife.  Some of the animals are very cool.  We also have the pirate ship and a pink castle which DD also enjoys.
  • I personally love the Noah's Ark.

We also have a construction one, a merry-go-round/fair, and a train that comes with big leggo-type blocks.  Adrian loves all of them really.  He seems to be playing with the construction one the most, but it's the newest too.

  • My DS plays with the Learn About Town the most.

My nephew had the zoo, and played with that a lot.  It has an animal for every letter of the alphabet (i.e.--a lot of characters to play with...the good thing is that it came with it's own carrying bag for just the animals), and a play mat with the corresponding letters on it.  It makes animal sounds too....I think.  :)

  • DD LOVE, LOVE, LOVES the castle ("Tackle" as she calls it). It's been a great toy! She spends about 30 minutes at a time w/it. She is a bit older than your dd though.
  • Jacob loves his Litte People bus and fire truck. You can buy more people for them too.
  • Busy Day Home. I also got her the Fairy Treehouse playset for her b-day. She loves swings so I hope she will like this.
