Coupon users come in!

I need to figure out how to save more on groceries and things. I clip coupons from the paper and fliers and I shop all the sales at my grocery store and I do pretty good! I need more coupons though, is there someplace to get some that I don't know about? I remember vaugely something about a coupon club...or something...

Help me please ladies!

Re: Coupon users come in!

  • smartsource.com has printable coupons, there's another site I've used, but can't remember the site.
  • Loading the player...
  • You will love this website:
    www.thethriftymama.com

She gives great leads on deals.  Also, check-out coupons.com and print before you go to the store.  Finally, check with your local stores to see if they price match.  If so, keep all your ads from Sunday's paper and bring them with you to the store; show the cashier at the register and they will give you the competitor's price.

  • coupons.com

Sometimes grocery stores "store" coupons on their websites.

Some stores let you use a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item. Match that with a sale and you can get stuff practically free.

  • Check out grocerygame.com

You subscribe to "The List"  for your particular store in your neighborhood (or more than 1 store, and you can add drugstores too) and each week you print a list for that store that matches up coupons with the lowest sale price for a particular item.  The key is stockpiling items when they are super low (less than 50% of the normal price).  You do this often and eventually your shopping list shinks down to almost nothing, and then you just "cherry pick" the best deals each week.  It's fantastic.  Most people end up saving at least 50-60% of their monthly grocery budget.  The list is $5/month, but it's totally worth it (I save way more than $5/month).

There's a 4 week free trial, so you can see if it's something you like.  I've just completed my trial and I've already saved a ton.  Read more about how it works on the site.  There are message boards too which are VERY helpful.  Good luck!

  • Go to thegrocerygame.com and they have free printable coupons on there.  There is also a website called iheartsavingmoney.com which shows you the weekly sales for a bunch of stores.
