Toys that don't take up a lot of room?

My step-nephews just turned one and I want to send them a gift.  One twin has Down Syndrome and also congential heart issues so he is developmentally and physically very different from his brother.  My step-sister is a shopaholic, so I kinda want to avoid clothes.  I really wanted to get them a toy, but they have a small house so I need something smallish?  Any suggestions?  Or other ideas for a good gift?

  • there's some farm fridge magnet thing that is around $15 and has the front & back end of animals that they put together, really cute. doesn't scold if they get it wrong, just says it's silly.... cute music, I like it. both would like it, or I think there's a couple versions? sorry, no time for a link. but it's smaller than a Rody ;-)

I was just going to suggest the same thing, DS has one with different vehicles and loves it.
