My husband is very close to his family and this will be the first and only grandchild for them. A quick background, my husbands mother passed away from MS when he was a senior in high school, and his grandmother had helped raise him due to his mothers illness. His grandmother passed a few years back and her name was Helen. His mother was Linda Diane.
I would like to go with Helena Diane, ( pronounced hel-AYE-nah), to honor them both as they were so important to my husband. I think it sounds pretty, but I am biased. Honest opinions, please on what you think.

I usually feel this way as well. But Helena Diane is a beautiful name and a lovely tribute!

I agree w/ this! I think it sounds really nice.
My chart
I know 2 Helena's one elderly and the other in her 20's and they both pronounce it Hel-A-nuh.. just like the op wants it pronounced.. not like Helen-uh like a pp..
