Recommend your ring sling

I currently have a Moby and love it, but it's a little too hot sometimes. I love the look and feel of ring slings and was wondering if you could recommend your ring sling or any other baby wrap that is great for warmer weather. TIA!

If anyone says the zolowear, I have one never used that you can have cheap! The boys do not like being in a sling so I didn't get to use mine. Let me know if you're interested: joycenbpl at yahoo dot com.

i haven't used the zolowear but you may want to take joyco up on that - that's awesome! (i was tempted to be like oooh i'll take it! lol but i have 2 RSs already so i can't really justify it..)

i have a maya wrap and an ellaroo ring sling. the maya is the brown sling that DH is wearing in siggie pic. (the brown sling i'm wearing is a peanut shell pouch sling - no ring, therefore not adjustable.) the maya is very sturdy and secure, and i am VERY happy with it. DH likes it a lot too. the ellaroo is prettier just b/c i got it in printed organic cotton (which is an option, albeit more $$, for maya wrap as well.) i have to say, even though the organic cotton is a lighter and thinner fabric, good for the hot weather, it doesn't feel as secure as the thicker maya fabric. so i would really rec a standard maya over a schmancy one for functionality.

there's a nestie called ncbelle - she is on the BF board, AP, and EFF (maybe others but that's where i've talked to her) - she is a babywearing guru and has lots of great info in her siggie. she loves woven wraps, like didymos (sp?) - which is what i'm looking into getting next. with those you can do back carries as well as front and hip. but they are more work to put on, like the moby.
