WOW!! Your two girls are absolutely beautiful, and I can't get over how much they look alike already!! Do you think they do at all? And how is Kaya sleeping/eating so far?

Hey! Thanks so much- they are really sweet little girls!
I do think they look alot alike! I told DH that I was going to have to label birth pics since there are a few that are almost exactly alike! Kaya's dimples aren't as quite as deep as Corrina's-but I am thinking maybe thats because C had 2 lbs on K when she was born- chubbalicious!
Kaya is a dream right now. Now I probably just jinxed myself, but so far since we have been home she bf around 10:30 or so and we are in bed for the night- then she wakes once around 3 or 4 and then sleeps til 7:00- this has been going on since last week and I feel almost completely recovered from my c/s because of all the rest I have been getting! She is the polar opposite of her sister sleep wise lol! Glad I had C first because if they had all been this easy, I would have more than 2!
That's wonderful. Miles has been a fabulous sleeper from day one really, but we've been told by a lot of other parents that babies with Down syndrome are typically good sleepers. So we're lucky in that sense.
In fact, the first month or so we had to set an alarm so we could wake him up to eat every three hours because of his jaundice. It was so the opposite of our experience with Nora, it was weird.
Did you have a c-section the first time around?? I had to have an emergency one with Nora, and my god the difference in recoveries after having a scheduled one with Miles was like night and day.

Yup- I had a c/s with C and the overall recovery and experience was like might and day! I felt great and I wasn't at all "drugged up" or anxious afterwards. I just enjoyed my new little baby!
Thats great that you got a good sleeper the 2nd time around too- it makes a world of difference in how I am able to parent during the day when I get a good nights sleep- of course like I said, I probably just messed it all up by posting how great of a sleeper she is- so we'll see if it continues! I gotta run- it's feeding time! LOL
Have a great night!!!
