I want to make some cloth diaper covers, the kind that velcro on the kid and you put the pre-fold cloth in the cover...

Anyone made these before? It looks really easy, but I maybe in over my head...

I'm not very handy with the sewing machine, but I think the hardest part would be getting the gussets right, since that's what essentially keeps the diaper from leaking.

Um...is the "gusset" that part that goes around the legs?

GHM-- I want to when we're at home with (not yet conceived)DC#2.

And yeah, that particular cover wouldn't be easy with the leg gussets, but not all diapers have them!

And there is a message board for cloth diaper making, I think. Let me see if I can find it!

It doesn't have to be JUST like that-- I just want the ones that the prefold sits inside (or is that what you mean).
