Results from yesterdays Ultrasound

I had my 6 week ultrasound yesterday and they warned us that they might have to have us come back next week if they couldn't get a heartbeat. They told me that they think I am 5.5 weeks instead of 6.2 but they DID find the heartbeat!!! It was a relief!! Heartbeat was 115.

The only unfortunate thing about the day was that since we changed doctors they kept asking my hubbie and I why were we there so early in the pregnancy. So of course we had to go into our previous miscarriage and how our daughter was born at 30 weeks and only lived for 5 days. Tears all over the place.

If Samantha was still here she would have been 6 months old. This is all so bitter sweet...is it normal to feel guilty?

It sounds like it must have been hard to re-tell the story to your new dr. It must be hard to be so exicited for the good news, when you are still grieving your loss. Hang in there, you're on the right track, great HB!!!! Best wishes!

Hey if you read this and want to send me out a message that would be great.  Since they dated you late, and could still hear the heartbeat, what all showed on your u/s was it just the sac and yolk or fetal pole, or could you see the fetus?
