Yes. I forget the oz. they wanted me to drink but it was ALOT. I got there and it hurt SO BAD when the wand was on my belly. She had me empty it because I wasn't even enjoying it. She mentioned that the images might not be as clear now that I had an empty bladder, but it worked out just fine. In fact...it still looked pretty full after I went on the screen. Call the dr for the amount. (12 week in bio-post pee)

I had strict instructions to drink a ton of water and have a full bladder. It doesn't hurt to go with a full bladder and then you can always empty it once you get there GL for your scan!

When I had mine they did not say anything about having a full badder. I just assumed that I needed one. Well, when I got there it was too full and I had to empty it anyway. I was so happy b/c I really do not know how I could have made it through the scan with one. If I were you I would go ahead and go in with one just incase.
Re: ? about NT scan
I did need a full bladder. They had me bring a bottle to drink while we met with the genetic counselor.
Have fun!
yes u need a full bladder
When I went, I didn't need an extremely full bladder. I think mine was partially full?because?it always is now, but nothing crazy.?
?When in doubt go full, you can always pee when you are there if they don't need it.??
