Success after IF

Please tell me it's ok for the baby to have lazy days.

I guess I've gotten spoiled because my baby boy has been moving tremendously for the past week. He makes my stomach shift from side to side and I am loving every minute of it. Although today is a different story. I've gotten a few thumps here and there but nothing compared to before. I can't help but get worried, I just want him to be super active again!

Re: Please tell me it's ok for the baby to have lazy days.

  • As long as you count 10 in two hours, you are ok. If the dramatic change carries on for more than a day or so, I would call. If you are not getting 10 in2 hours I would call. Baby's do have lazy days, but it is also good to be aware.

  • Mine had a lazy day last week, and he's been really active for many weeks now. When I did the stuff they said you're supposed to do (drink OJ and lie on left side), I realized I was actually feeling little thumps in my lower back area, and even lower than that. I think he had flipped over and was facing the opposite direction from usual, so I wasn't feeling strong movements.

ETA: At 30 weeks I would definitely do the kick count and call the doctor if it's not 10 in two hours.

After 7 failed IUIs, IVF w/ ICSI worked!!

I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.

And thrilled to be pregnant again after FET!
