1st betas back.... ? about timing of 2nd betas

My hcg is at 158 and my progesterone is at 33.1. She said the numbers looked good. YAYYYY!!!

I'll have my 2nd beta on Wednesday. I can either go in early in the morning and get my results back that day (but it would only be 45 hours since beta #1) or do it later on in the afternoon (over 48 hours from beta #2), but then I won't get the results until Friday . I asked my nurse if it made a difference if it was just under 48 hours and she said it was totally my choice as to when to come in.

What would you do? I'm leaning toward going in early because I really want to know the numbers....and the nurse really wouldn't give me an indication if there would be that much difference within a few hour time frame.

I know, I know...not the most important question of the day, just curious what others would do since I'm bored at the moment Stick out tongue

Using the beta calculator on betabase.com you can use the times as well as the date to get an accurate doubling time so I say Go for the early and Get those numbers to us ASAP!

I made sure I went in at least 48 hours later. I didn't want to have any questions in my mind.

Go early for sure. Doubling is supposed to be within 48-72 hours so even if you went 50 hours apart then it doesn't mean it will double. It will still give you an idea if it's close to doubling and you can input times of draws in some online calculators too.
