Babies on the Brain

I cannot believe I asked my Dad to come down

for two weeks.

we are preparing for this hip surgery and i will be on crutches (again)- 0 weight baring...and because of the h's work schedule (which is getting REALLY crazy)...we asked him to come help us for two whole weeks.

oye.

now, I know some ladies have a tight relationship with your Dad's and that is great...but, well, ours has been less than par in the past. He is very excited to be with the baby and I just talked with him...he is already packing his bags. He is not coming down for another 34 days, but he says that the time will fly.

  • I love my dad, but asking him to come "help" me would be a mistake.  He can do laundry, but that's about it.

yeah--- we are hoping he will lift the baby/help with driving- that sort of stuff.

I will probably end up doing HIS laundry.

two weeks- last time we were together for two weeks was when I lived at home in high school- 15 years ago.
