Back from 37 week and internal

I was really hoping for some more progress, but I'll take it.  I'm 50% effaced, but my cervix is still closed.  Baby's head is at -1 station and everything looks good.  At least I didn't gain any weight!  I have a feeling I'm in this for the long haul, which I know is good for the baby.  I just wish I could sleep more than an hour without having to get up to pee.  Oh well!!

Yay for some progress! I think that's a decent amount for 37 weeks. I had my 1st internal last week at almost 37 weeks, and my cervix was soft and about 25% effaced. She didn't tell me what station baby's head was at, but that she is head down and low.

I know I will obsess about my internals   in any case though you have some progress and you always hear about women who go from nothing to labor very quickly and others who sit at 2 or 3 cm for weeks. You're getting close!!

Well sounds like you have to sit tight for another week.  Hopefully next week you are starting to dilate

Lucky you...you didn't gain any weight!  I gained 3lbs this week!  I guess the baby shower food was a little too yummy!
