Pregnant after a Loss

My pants stopped fitting overnight!

Geez... I knew this was coming but I didn't realize it would happen so suddenly!  Especially on a Monday.  I couldn't even zip up my work pants this morning.  It was too uncomfortable.  Last week I could fasten them and everything!!  Thank goodness I had my bella band to rig my pants to stay up.  Ugh... work maternity pants are so expensive!

  • yeah... isn't it crazy how it happens so quickly??  I was blown away how one week they fit and the next, not so much as halfway zipping up!!  The bella band works good, but oh... the comfort to move into what I call 'big belly pants'.... trust me, you wont go back after the move to maternity clothing!!

Look for consignment sales - I got a TON of bargains of quality brand work pants for a fraction of the price of new... like $8 mimi/motherhood brand that would normally retail for like what.. $40 or so...

  • It's amazing how fast it happens! I found some nice, decently priced work pants @ Kohl's. You should check them out.

  • Work maternity pants are expensive, but in another couple of weeks the bella band will become uncomfortable and you will be willing to pay anything for the amazing comfort of maternity pants!

On the plus side...whenevery I grow it makes me feel better about the babies overall health!

  • I know the feeling. I have a few pairs of capris that are maternity pants from Gap. I really dont need maternity pants yet but I was tiny and definitely dont fit into the size that I was anymore and I hate to start buying regular clothes that are a few sizes up just because. Definitely keep looking online to see if you can get some deals. I got some stuff from Ann Taylor loft and googled ATL coupons and got a few.

  • Let me tell you my secret.....check out your local goodwill or value village or Ross or burlington coat factory.  I scored on deals at those places with clothes....even found cute mimi maternity and pea in the pod stuff at the thrift shops!

  • This happened to me today too! I ended up wearing a dress rather than scavenge for a pair of pants that might fit and depress myself further. Already told the hubs that I'll be doing some pants shopping this week.
