Pregnant after a Loss

cramping at 11 weeks?

Should I be concerned? While I had cramps a lot with this pg, I have not had any in about 3 weeks. Is this a normal thing at this stage? I know there is rapid growth going on in there. No spotting or blood. It is kind of low too, like on my pubic bone or maybe my bladder....

TIA.

  • I think you're probably fine.  Mine have come and gone throughout.  Around 6 or 7 weeks they were pretty have AF type cramps.  Now when they come they are much more dull achy, back ache kinda things.  Lots of stretching has to happen, so think of it like that!

  • Sounds normal to me. It's just everything stretching making room for your LO!

  • I had this exact thing going on a few weeks ago... prob about the same time. Mine was really low too. I thought for sure that I had a bladder infection coming on or something. Everything still seems to be fine though!

  • Sounds normal to me! At this point your baby is growing like crazy so everything else is too! You're going to feel all sorts of weird stuff. I'm  almost in the 3rd tri and I'm still getting cramps and weird pains! When I talked to my dr about cramping she said as long as you're not bleeding or keeling over in pain, it's normal and a sign of good things happening. HTH! :)

  • I don't think you should be concerned. I'm still having cramping at just over 10 weeks. Mine comes and goes. I just asked my OB about it again at my appt last Friday. He assured me that it's fine, and even said it could continue for quite a while. I'm sure your LO is fine!

    ((hugs))

  • At 11 wks, the doctor said my uterus was the size of 2 grapefruits! All that growth and stretching is bound to cause some cramps or twinges once in a while.  I still get cramping, esp. after relieving a full bladder.

Take it as a good sign that everything is right on track for your growing baby!

  • I have had cramping this whole pg so far.  I even woke up this morning with some.  I thinking it's a combination of growing and deydration.  When i get them i drink a lot of water and put my feet up and it usually goes away...
