what bottle does your newborn eat from best?? we have dr. browns but he sucks down a lot of air with it. any recommendations??? tia

DD like the MAM bottles the best.

My LO prefers the evenflow "comfort" bottles... they were an easter gift from my mom and probably the lease expensive bottles I have.  He also did well with the born free bottle.

after trying, Avent, Born Free, and Dr. Browns, we found Avent works best and caused the lease amount of air bubbles...

We like the Playtex Ventaires. Not too expensive either.

I like the First Years Breastflow bottles even though DD only uses bottles.  It forces her to slow down and she spits up much less.

Playtex Drop-Ins. I squeeze the milk up to the nipple (squeezing the nipple to allow air to escape) so there's no air left in the bottle.

We have been Avent users from day one. Sometimes they leak and I wanna chuck them at the wall..we did try to switch to Playtex drop-ins and NUK around 2 1/2 mo and she hated both of them.. So, we stuck with Avent.

One way to combat the air sucking to avoid spitups is to burp after every ounce..it adds a little time, but is worth it.

Jacob uses the born free...he likes them...I hate them...too many parts to clean and assemble.

I forgot I had these... DS did well with these too, but I don't like them.  I used them when I had to give him an oz of formula after nursing because of his diahrea.  I could never get all the air out.

We started with the Ventaires and now use the Drop-ins. We like them both and use them both!!

We tried Ventaire, Drop ins, Avent, and Dr. Browns... DS seemed to like the smaller nipples so we decided to stick with Dr. Browns.  I hate all the parts and the fact that they leak if turned over without that circle piece but other than that no problems.

We use Dr. Browns.  I also have the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher and loooove it!
