my ebay account was hacked!

someone made listings that weren't mine.  very weird.  trying to get my account restored now....

this is actually kind of creepy.

    i asked the rep how they figured out that i didn't make the listings...quote of the night is "Security precautions prevent me from discussing our proprietary tools and investigation procedures that led us to this action."

    Same thing happened to me a few years ago.  The person who had hacked my account listed hundreds of things for sale under my ID.  Actually took a lot longer to straighten out than I had thought it would.  Luckily eBay was the one who caught it before any damage was done and they caught it very quickly.  My account is now back to its normal self.  g/l hope all goes smoothly for you !!!
