vag bleeding post csection?

just curious as to the pattern of your bleeding after a csection ? I am 1 week post delivery w twins and still having bright red blood that is comparable to the first day of a period (heavier than my typical first day but I was on the pill forever so not really comparable). I thought it would be lighter by now. I know it can increase w/ activity & yesterday we had 2 different dr appts to go to but today I have really been trying not to do much, stick to caring for babies, avoid the stairs when possible, take naps etc. There arent any big clots or soaking through pads or anything but I thought things would be lighter/pinker etc by now. I will call my dr on Monday if it is still the same but just curious about your experiences.

I still have days of bright red bleeding that is not really connected to activity near as I can tell...but some days I have lighter discharge.  It's very weird...

I did mean to tell you/page you though, I realized today that my carpal  tunnel is suddenly not bothering me anymore.  How is yours?

I had bright red bleeding, like a heavy period, for four weeks. ?I even had some big clots right near the end of the four weeks. ?Then two more weeks of pale discharge. ?

Your bleeding will be all over the place for a few weeks... I had the same issues and my ob swears it's normal... a week of red blood, few days of brown, red again for a few days, nothing for a few days, red again... etc

Finally tapered off at 5 weeks... then started again red at 6 weeks (which I suspect was a light and spotty first pp AF) and then again at 10 weeks (Which I think was 2nd pp AF but was also light and spotty).

See.. all over the place... I wouldn't worry.

I had heavy bleeding for awhile.  I had to use depends pads because it was too heavy for regular maxis.  I think after about 2 weeks though, it slowed way down and stopped totally about a week later. 

I was a little surprised by the amount of vag bleeding.  I guess I just didn't expect that with a c/s.

I had bright red blood for about 4 weeks, and it started to taper about 3 weeks

Mine was heavy for 4-5 weeks as well before it started to taper. I did notice heavier, red flow coincided with activity.

You need to worry when you start soaking your pads.  I had a postpartum hemorrhage two days after I got home from the hospital and had to go to the ER.  I could tell something was wrong.  I soaked through two maxi pads very quickly.  But red bleeding for weeks is normal.
