I didnt need a d&c

I had a natural miscarriage yesterday. Story in blog. I am happy that it went natural. I didnt want a d&c again.

I have a question for you ladies. I really forget because its been so long since my first natural one but I know you should swim after a d&c and cant have anything up there. what about a natural. Should you not put a tampon up there?

I'm so sorry for your loss, but if you didn't want a D&C then I'm glad that at least things happened naturally for you, although I know that is obviously a terrible consolation prize.  As for the question, they answer is the same.  no tampons, sex, swimming, bathtubs, etc. for 2 weeks.  ((((((HUGS))))))

Yeah, I scarred with my last d&c so I wanted it to go natural. I didnt want to have either but...

Yea, with my m/c I didn't end up miscarrying naturally so I had drugs administered to bring about a "natural" m/c.  But they still told me to take the same precautions because your cervix is dialated and you can get infections.

I just wanted to say that I'm glad that you were able to have a natural m/c this time.  With mine, I was told not to wear a tampon for the duration of the bleeding.
