So I went to L&D a couple days ago just to make sure I wasn't in real labor as I had freaked out the girls at work and got myself sent home. My contractions were about 20 or so minutes apart and not too intense, they obviously sent me home. now they are every 15 or so(some 17 some 14) minutes and hurt a little more. Not to mention the bad backache, and my newly acquired tummy trouble, and pinkish brown spotting. I'm gonna have one of those labors that takes 3-5 weeks aren't i?

    If your having spotting I would call the doctor!  My friend had spotting and her contractions where a little irregular too! When she started spotting she went to L&D and they said she was 8cm already! I would call the doc...they may want to see you! Good luck!!!

    Knowing my doctor I could tell him the head was coming out and he'd say it was normal he'd see me tuesday! but I expected spotting since when we went to L&D the nurse did an internal and actually was so rough she knocked a clot loose! it's been lightening up ever since it started.
