He's here!!!

It has been a long few days since I came to the hospital for an assessment on Wed and haven't seen the outside world since, but wanted to send a quick update that our little guy came screaming into the world around 12:30 this morning! He is a peanut at just under 5 lbs and has to stay in the special care nursery since he came before 36 weeks, but all is good so far.

I'll write more about the birth story, complete with gestational hypertension, pre-e, pitocin, magnesium, non-existent contractions and suddenly dilated and pushing later.
