I survived KiddieLand!!!

If you're from Chicago, then you know the place that I'm talking about...if not, it's a legendary Chicago kid's amusement park.  I mean it's only for smaller kids really.  I went yesterday for a few hours with 2 of my nieces and 2 of my nephews and I survived!  I even was able to have some fun even though it was sooooo crowded and hot and my 4-yo nephew wasn't having so much fun and my 3-yo niece got hurt and there was a small child or baby every where I turned.  I think it's a pretty big accomplishment.  I did find myself staring too long at the pregnant women I saw and the small babies in their strollers. 

The real kicker is that I always imagined bringing my own children there, but they are closing it this year.  So, now I can never bring my children, which makes me sad.  At least I got to go one more time with my nieces and nephews!

awww. i'm sorry you won't get to bring your babies there, but I know you will find other special places to share with them.  Congrats on surviving the outing! That is a huge step!
