Itchy boobs?!

I am EP and am VERY new at this!  The last few times I have pumped my boobs get very very itchy afterwards.  Has this happened to anyone else?  If so, what (if anything) does it mean and what might help it to go away?!  TIA!?

    Happened to me, too, in the beginning...it went away and I didn't do anything. I think it's just your body getting used to its new function.

    Did your breasts grow or get engorged when your milk came in? Just like as your abdomen skin stretched with the growing baby, your breasts grow with the swelling milk. It is your skin expanding.

    Mine itch now when DD is nursing..I was just telling DH this earlier.  I have been using the laniloh (sp?) on my nipples and that is helping with that area so maybe try some lotion on your boobs??  You are not alone though!

    I can totally relate.  Thought I was losing my mind when i first started pumping as i was so itchy.  :)  Lansinoh helps some, and it does get better over time. Hang in there.  :)
