Want to hear my shame? I eat half a pint of ben & jerry's half baked every night. I've been doing this since before I was pregnant. I did switch from the full fat ice cream to the froyo but still, I can't imagine it is going to help with a weight loss attempt.
Want to hear something even worse???? Since getting pregnant, I have lost my love of all things chocolate. I have zero interest in it. This bums me out more than you can imagine. I keep hoping it will get better and my love will return. Sure, it may help with the weight loss, but damn, I miss chocolate.

This exact same thing happened to me throughout my first and most of my second trimester. Chocolate (as well as sweets in general) did not appeal to me AT ALL, which was odd considering I was a desserts junkie beforehand.
My sweets craving has definitely come back though and with that said, yes, I eat it EVERYDAY. Nom, nom, nom...
Not chocolate necessarily, but I eat SO badly, you have no need to be ashamed in my company. I snack all day long, hardly eat veggies, fast food more often than I should admit, Lunchables for lunch almost every day and takeout at night. No wonder I'm 3 lbs HEAVIER than when I got home from the hospital (and 16 lbs over pre-pg weight, 33 over pre-IF and IVF weight).

Totally jealous that your taste for sweets came back. . . mine is still hiding. I know that I should appreciate it, but I really miss enjoying sweets. <sigh>

Abso-freaking-lutely! If it's available! Today for instance, not minutes ago, a co-worker of mine were daydreaming of Snickers and Reese Cups. Neither of which are available to use right now...which sucks big time!

Yep! I do, and I'm not really ashamed. Is that bad? I've always had a sweet tooth, but ever since I've been pregnant I HAVE to eat dessert every night. And I usually have a few sweet things throughout the day too. It's going to be hard to quit that in a couple weeks, but I will have to try. D

I did before WW and maternity leave. I work(ed) for a chocolate company and was surrounded by free stuff all the time (and really good stuff, too-- proper cocoa content and nothing bulking it up, plus really creative recipes like mojito truffles).
These days I've worked too hard to drop these 23 lbs so far, so I only have a taste now and again as a treat. But god I miss biting down into a block of it.
